Industrial hygiene measures what workers breathe, hear and feel on the job and compares it with legal limits. REPL carries out workplace exposure surveys under the Factories Act, 1948, using calibrated instruments and NABL laboratory analysis.
What we measure
Respirable dust, total dust and free silica, noise level and noise dose, heat stress (WBGT), illumination, workplace gases and vibration, along with any other statutory parameter your plant needs.
How the survey is done
We sample the air with personal and area samplers over a full shift or a representative task, send samples to NABL-accredited laboratories, and compare the results with Factories Act limits, ACGIH TLVs and DGMS norms.
What you receive
A department-wise exposure assessment, TWA calculations, a statutory compliance evaluation, photographs and recommendations for engineering and administrative controls. We can also help you set up and maintain an industrial hygiene programme.
What you receive
- Qualitative and quantitative exposure assessment
- Heat stress, noise and illumination surveys
- Indoor air quality and area sound level mapping
- Personal protective equipment assessment
- Reports ready for factory inspectors and audits
