Many industrial and infrastructure projects need Environmental Clearance before they can be built or expanded. REPL is a Category A, QCI-NABET accredited EIA consultant organization and prepares the EIA and EMP studies and the documents for clearance.
What are EIA and EMP?
The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies how a project will affect air, water, soil, noise, land use, ecology and nearby communities. The Environmental Management Plan (EMP) sets out the measures to prevent, reduce and monitor those impacts.
Sectors we cover
Our accreditation covers opencast mining, thermal power plants, metallurgical industries, cement, chemical fertilizer, synthetic organic chemicals, distilleries, pulp and paper, sugar, hazardous waste facilities, bio-medical waste facilities, highways, building and construction projects, and townships and area development.
How we support the clearance
We collect baseline data through NABL-accredited monitoring, prepare the reports and supporting documents, and support you through the appraisal process, including forest clearance and wildlife conservation plan approvals where a project needs them. The decision rests with the appraisal authorities.
